What is Shinobu?
Shinobu is a beautiful, mysterious girl who lives in the forest outside of town. She’s kind and gentle, but also has a strong spirit and a sharp tongue. Her friends think she’s strange because she never talks about herself or her life. One day, Shinobu meets a boy named Kyo who is walking in the woods looking for his cat. Kyo befriends Shinobu and they start to spend more time together.
One night, Shinobu finds Kyo asleep on the ground next to a tree with a pack of wolves nearby. The wolves start to attack Kyo, but Shinobu jumps in front of him and starts fighting them off with her bare fists. After saving Kyo, Shinobu reveals that she can transform into a wolf too. From then on, she becomes his protector and friend – known as Shinobu-senpai to him.
